kadang kita dibuat jengkel plus kesal jika pada saat kita butuh printer kesayangan kita untuk mencetak beberapa lembar hasil pekerjaan atau dokumen tiba-tiba macet atau ngadat alias ngambek tidak mau jalan. Mungkin permasalahannya simpel, dari kondisi tinta yang habis, paper jump, atau kesalahan teknis listrik mati (yang terakhir ini musuh paling bebuyutan ^___,^), dll.

Semua permasalahan tersebut kiranya dapat cepat diatasi bila kita tahu apa yang menyebabkab printer kita eror alias rusak. Akan tetapi jika semua usaha sudah dilakukan tetapi si printer belum juga menunjukkan tanda-tanda normal, bisa dicurigai printer kita sudah mencapai batas maksimum dalam mencetak. Ciri-cirinya antara lain lampu indikator on (nyala) tetapi ngeblink alias kelap-kelip. Atau ada pemberitahuan pada layar komputer jika printer bermasalah dan harus dibawa ke servis center.
Wah-wah bakal lama urusannya kalau begitu....

Berikut ini tips sederhana untuk printer merk Canon yang nge-blink:

Canon BJC-2000 BJC-2100 Series

1: Remove the Cartridge
2: Unplug the AC Power Cord
3: Close Front access panel, Hold down the RESUME/RESET button and plug in the AC power cord
4: Release RESUME/RESET after plugging in the AC Power cord.
5: Press the RESUME/RESET once within 5 seconds and release the RESUME/RESET .
6: Press and HOLD RESUME/RESET for two seconds or more and release it.
7: Press and HOLD RESUME/RESET for two seconds or more and release it.
8: Unplug AC Power Cord to set data.


Canon GENERIC “S” SERIES RESET CODE

Waste Ink Counter Reset.

(1) Turn off the printer.
(2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button.
(3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two(2) more times in succession. Note: you are still holding the POWER button). The printer’s carriage will “reset” or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the “Service Mode”.
(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will alternate (change) color with each key press.

1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check.
2. EEPROM - Info printout.
3. EEPROM - Initialization.
4. Reset the Waste ink counter.
5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!) After selecting the desired mode (eg 4), press the POWER button to “set” the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.


Canon PIXMA iP1000

Waste Ink Counter Reset Manual for Service mode

1. Turn off the printer. And disconnect the printer cable.
2. Press and hold the POWER button, turn on the printer.
3. The indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
4. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange.

Turn off the printer.

Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button. While still holding the POWER button, Release the RESUME button, then press and release the RESUME button two more times in succession.

The printer mechanics will move momentarily. You are now in Service mode. Release the Power Button. Pressing the RESUME key will select a function; for example, pressing

RESUME 4 times will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will alternate color with each key press.

the Power button once more. Your printer should respond as normal.

Canon MPC190
Reset Waste Ink

1) Enter SERVICE MODE. By pressing Menu Copy Scan Copy Copy
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Set] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Teknologi VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) seperti telah kita ketahui bersama saat ini, sangat banyak dipergunakan secara luas, baik untuk komunikasi Sambungan Langsung International, Sambungan Langsung Jarak Jauh, atau bahkan hanya sekedar untuk komunikasi antar cabang perusahaan dalam suatu wilayah yang masih termasuk dalam area lokal. Hal ini merupakan fakta yang tidak dapat terelakkan, karena memang teknologi VoIP ini merupakan sebuah teknologi terobosan yang dapat menghemat pengeluaran kita ataupun sebuah perusahaan dalam hal berkomunikasi. Kali ini saya akan memberikan informasi dan pembahasan mengenai sebuah solusi komunikasi berbasiskan teknologi VoIP yang dapat digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan sangat murah antara sesama pengguna jaringan GPRS pada jaringan telepon seluler.

Pertama – tama yang perlu kita ketahui bersama adalah konsep dari hal yang akan kita lakukan. Komunikasi ini ini memanfaatkan jaringan GPRS yang tersedia hampir bahkan seluruh penyedia jasa komunikasi seluler seperti Telkomsel, Satelindo, Exelcomindo, Indosat yang ada di Indonesia. Kesemuanya ini telah dilengkapi dengan jaringan GPRS yang dapat digunakan untuk saling kirim dan terima MMS, ataupun untuk mengakses dunia maya Internet. Bila kita berbicara mengenai jaringan GPRS apalagi untuk Internet, tentunya kita akan menggunakan protokol yang lazim digunakan untuk berkomunikasi yakni IP (Internet Protocol). Kita patut bersyukur, karena walaupun yang operasional saat ini hanya Ipv4 saja, tapi sudah dapat kita gunakan untuk mewujudkan komunikasi murah seperti ini. Mungkin untuk ke depan, apabila memang Ipv6 sudah operasional, komunikasi akan semakin lebih murah dan memungkinkan kita untuk dapat berkomunikasi hingga dengan seluruh orang di seluruh pelosok dunia yang terhubung dengan jaringan Ipv6.

Setelah konsep awal kita pahami, maka kita mempersiapkan beberapa alat yang dapat kita gunakan untuk komunikasi. Pada percobaan yang telah saya lakukan, alat yang saya gunakan untuk berkomunikasi adalah PPC (PocketPC). Percobaan menggunakan XDA2, dimana ini adalah PocketPC Phone Edition dimana antara perangkat telepon genggam seluler dengan PocketPC nya menjadi satu, sehingga lebih mudah dalam hal melakukan setting dan konfigurasi. Akan tetapi untuk yang memiliki PocketPC dan Phone nya terpisah, jangan kuatir, sebab saya pun telah mencoba komunikasi dengan iPAQ 2210 + t68i dan dapat berlangsung dengan baik.

Adapun untuk keperluan software, saya mempergunakan sebuah sofware PPC dari www.bearware.dk. Sofware tersebut namanya adalah TinyTeamTalk. Kemampuan dari si sofware adalah dapat mengkomunikasikan suara dan teks melalui jaringan yang kita pakai. Oleh karena itu saya dapat gunakan software ini tidak hanya untuk sekedar berkomunikasi suara saja, mengirimkan teks pun sangat memungkinkan.
Lanjutkan dengan proses penginstallan terhadap keduabelah alat yang akan digunakan. Jangan lupa untuk memastikan antara keduabelah pihak terhubung dengan jaringan GPRS dari penyedia jasa telepon seluler yang sama. Dan setelah terhubung, catat penggunaan IP yang menjadi identitas masing – masing. Jalankan program TinyTeamTalk dan salah satu pihak harus menjadi pihak yang statusnya Hosting. Jangan lupa untuk mencatat IP dan Port yang digunakan untuk hosting tersebut agar pihak lawan pun dapat menyamakannya, sehingga terjadi komunikasi.
Setelah Hosting , maka pihak lawan dan kita sendiri harus Join ke IP dan Port yang Hosting tersebut. Kalau anda berhasil maka komunikasi dapat segera terlaksana baik Voice maupun Text. Apabila kualitas yang diterima sangatlah buruk, anda masih bisa mencoba untuk mainkan setting Audio Quality Settings pada menu Preferences. Pada kondisi jaringan seluler yang sinyalnya sangat lemah memang dibutuhkan sekali untuk meminimalkan seluruh setting tersebut agar dapat diperoleh kualitas suara yang lebih baik. Untuk teks, tidak ada masalah, karena baik atau buruknya hanya terlihat dari delay yang terjadi antara pihak kita dengan pihak lawan.

Apabila kita ingin mempergunakan Personal PC untuk berkomunikasi, hal ini bisa mudah sekali kita lakukan. Pada sistem operasi Windows, terdapat sofware NetMeeting yang sudah tersedia pada instalasi standar. Cukup hubungkan PC yang dipakai dengan sebuah bluetooh ke sebuah pesawat genggam yang kita miliki (tentunya harus dilengkapi dengan teknologi bluetooh juga) lalu jalankan dan lakukan hal yang sama seperti yang saya contohkan pada PocketPC. Disana terdapat juga Hosting dan kita harus mengetaui IP masing – masing, baik IP kita maupun IP lawan bicara kita.

Demikian informasi yang dapat saya sampaikan, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi ini, kita akan semakin dapat menghemat sekaligus memanfaatkannya untuk berbagai hal. Karena teknologi ini tidak hanya melewatkan paket data suara saja, melainkan dapat juga melewatkan paket data teks, video, dan lain – lain.
